Book an AppointmentThe extended hair sections of the natural hair are incorporated into the root without forming knots. Over the years, "Knotless Braids" have become very popular and they are now the favourite with many customers.
Twist braids, more accurately called hair twists, are a protective hairstyle created by twisting two or more sections of hair around each other. Unlike traditional three-strand braids, twists involve wrapping the hair strands over one another to form a rope-like pattern. This technique can be done on natural hair or with extensions for various looks.
One of the most popular hairstyles that has passed the test of time is the Box Braids. The natural hairline is wrapped with the extended hair area, which creates a knot extension on the scalp.
Cornrows are a traditional African hairstyle where hair is braided tightly to the scalp in raised, continuous rows — straight lines or geometric designs. This technique uses an underhand, upward motion and is a protective style that can promote hair health.
Locs are hair matted and twisted into rope-like strands — a low-maintenance, versatile style with deep cultural significance. Examples: Traditional locs, Faux locs, Marley locs, etc.
Boho (Bohemian) braids blend knotless braids with flowing curly pieces woven throughout for a fuller, natural, undone look. This requires both braid base and curly hair pieces (synthetic or human) for texture and volume.
Gentle, simple protective braids or cornrows suitable for kids and young clients.
Curly, elegant braided styles combining braids and curl pieces for a glamorous finish.
Professional sew-in extensions for natural length and volume without a wig application.
Texture Difference
• European hair tends to be softer and silkier — harder to grip when braiding. Scalp lines may not look as sharp as on Afro hair.
Lasting Time
• Braids on straight hair usually last few weeks with care. On Afro hair they can often last longer.
What We Do For You
• Use special gels for grip, add hair where needed, braid carefully but gently to protect the scalp.
What You Can Do
• Wrap hair at night with silk scarf/bonnet, use mousse to keep braids fresh, and book retouches if needed.
